The World of Dreaming. There is only so much I can understand about The Dreaming, the the people of Australia. I wanted to use the red to express the otherness while still using indigenous language to describe it. When my best friend told me she was getting Australia vibes from this painting, I saw it too. The palette, the flow, the way the colours were shifting like clouds and thoughts. It’s a very red earth as seen through a veil of light. I wonder what this piece will do for a moon, when hung in a place of power.
