This is the genesis of the exhibition. I’ve been doing glaze abstract painting techniques for a while but something very different started happening when I switched to Golden acrylics.
I could see the difference right away. Somehow, even though there are heaps of colour combos here, I see four season or four focal points dominating. The idea of seasons or directions just popped into my head, and I name this piece knowing full well how powerful a sentiment it is. These paintings have been my medicine, and I am so grateful for the time I’ve had making them.
